Tom Clancy’s The Division Delayed Until 2015?

An anonymous source has stated that "a 2014 release date seems laughable".

Take this with the strongest (and smallest) pinches of salt because that’s how rumours from anonymous sources are to be taken. However, this is Ubisoft and the company had already delayed two big titles, Watch Dogs and The Crew. Now it seems that Tom Clancy’s The Division, developed by Massive Entertainment, could be delayed into 2015.

In conversation with Game Reactor, this source stated that, “The game engine works well, it is not clear but works well. Actual game development has barely begun, however. The fact that Ubisoft issued a 2014 release date seems laughable if I’ll be completely honest, we will never have time to release The Division this year. This is a big project, we have very far to go…”

Tom Clancy’s The Division is scheduled to release in Autumn 2014 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. We’ve been amazed with the performance of the Snowdrop engine thus far, but will it actually skip 2014? Stay tuned for more updates.
