Tomoya Asano, known for his work on the Bravely Default series (including the recent Bravely Default 2), is currently busy with producing Artdink’s Triangle Strategy. The tactical RPG utilizes the HD-2D visual style seen in Octopath Traveler and releases in March. However, Asano teased even more announcements and releases for this year.
In a recent tweet celebrating the new year, Asano said (translation via DeepL) that, “In addition to Triangle, we are planning to announce and release several other titles this year. Please keep an eye out!” It’s unknown whether Bravely Default: Brilliant Lights, an upcoming single-player RPG for iOS and Android (which is notable for not having a gacha system) is one of the releases.
As for Triangle Strategy, it’s currently slated to release on March 4th for Nintendo Switch. For more details on the setting and characters, head here. You can also learn more about the protagonist, Roland Glenbrook, here. A free demo is also currently available to download on the Nintendo eShop. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming weeks.
