Two Point Campus Delayed to August 9th

Originally set for May, Two Point Studios is using the extra time to deliver "the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms."

Two Point Campus, the next management sim from Two Point Studios, has been delayed from its original May 17th release date. Instead, it will now release on August 9th. Game director Mark Webley stated that the studio’s goal was to release simultaneously on PC and consoles “to the quality and standard that our community expects from us.”

To that end, it requires “a little bit more time with Two Point Campus to make sure we deliver the best possible game that can be enjoyed equally on all platforms. We will use these additional three months to optimize Two Point Campus for all platforms.” A new developer diary video has also been released which sees the team discussing its vision for the game. It also features some new in-game footage highlighting the sheer madness that can occur on campus.

Two Point Campus is in development for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch (with a day one release on Game Pass for consoles and PC). It sees players building a university from the ground-up, modifying its structure and layout in numerous ways. You then hire on different teachers and set a curriculum but since this is the team behind Two Point Hospital, there are subjects like knighthood, gastronomy and so on being taught. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months.
