Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception is available on the PlayStation Network for free but this just isn’t the multiplayer component (which has been free ever since the game’s inception). The single-player campaign, which is arguably as good as the second game’s, is also available to download completely free of charge for United States PSN users. And no, you don’t need a PS Plus account for this.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception released in late 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and featured a robust multiplayer component, compelling single-player game and an involving story with some great visuals. Granted, it didn’t really create the impact that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves did when it first launched but it’s still one of the best games of 2011.
Naughty Dog is allegedly preparing to showcase the next Uncharted, exclusive to the PlayStation 4, at Sony’s E3 media briefing on June 9th. They are also busy with The Last of Us: Remastered which will be out on the Ps4 in the coming months so stay tuned for more information.
