Dontnod’s action RPG Vampyr has seen it Steam page updated with new information, detailing the various requirements for the PC version. If you’re interested in getting the maximum fidelity out of the experience, a strong rig will be required.
Minimum requirements include an Intel Core i3-2130, GeForce GTX 660 with 2 B VRAM and 8 GB RAM. However, Recommended requirements include an Intel Core i7-3930K, GeForce GTX 970 with 4 GB VRAM and 16 GB of RAM. Regardless of which you go for, 20 GB of available HDD space will be required. Dontnod hasn’t outlined the resolution and frame rate offered by the recommended specs.
If you haven’t heard of it, Vampyr comes from the studio behind Life is Strange. It focuses on a doctor Jonathan Reid who’s recently turned into a vampire. With a flu ravaging London in 1918, players must choose who to feed on or whether to stave off the hunger entirely.
Building bonds with different characters will increase experience gained when feeding, thus helping you combat Vampyr hunters and other monstrosities. The game is out on June 5th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
