Digital Extremes’ Warframe has been a journey of ups and downs, from major revamps and core gameplay changes to huge updates like The Second Dream and Plains of Eidolon. It will celebrate its fifth anniversary on March 21st and Digital Extremes has thrown out a whole bunch of stats (via IGN) to showcase how far it’s come.
Since launching in open beta in 2013, Warframe has over 38 million registered players – seven million of those have come in the last year itself. Players have accumulated 1.2 billion hours played in total and crafted 52,972,344 Warframes in the game. The number of weapons is even higher with over 234.7 million weapons crafted. In terms of boss kills, Captain Vor has been downed 53,117,969 times while The Stalker has seen 41,765,109 deaths.
There’s even more planned for Warframe in the coming days. The game’s annual convention Tennocon is scheduled for July 7th where it will show off its next big open world on Venus. If you’ve played Warframe, what are your thoughts on its progress? Let us know in the comments.
