The newest mainline update for Digital Extremes’ free to play shooter Warframe arrives on May 17th for PC players. Update 22.20.0 is fairly significant since it brings changes to Dojos, a rework of Saryn’s abilities, revamped GPU particles and much, much more.
Though there was no hotfix next week, everything has been rolled together into this week’s update. According to community manager Rebecca Ford on the official forums, the team was chasing one crash but the update should arrive by today. “The notes are about 17 pages long. Get ready!” Saryn is perhaps the biggest part of the update since her abilities have become far more potent but there’s quite a lot to look forward to.
Digital Extremes has quite a lot more planned for Warframe with a rework of the melee system and the new open world space set on Venus. That’s not including the upcoming Tennocon 2018 and The Sacrifice, the next big cinematic quest that advances the story. What are your thoughts on the game? Let us know below.
