Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Kicks off Beta, Gets New Trailer Showcasing Freedom of Choice

You can now try out Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader yourself thanks to the new beta that went live.

Developer Owlcat has announced that the beta for upcoming RPG Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is now live. Alongside the launch of the beta, the studio has also released a new trailer for the game that shows off an example of how much freedom of choice players will have in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The new beta for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will allow players to play the upcoming RPG from the very beginning. It features a prologue as well as Act 1, compared to the game’s alpha which kicked things off directly from Act 2. The beta for the RPG will go on until Act 3, taking players into the dark city of Commorragh, which is where the Drukhari live.

Alongside other features like a new Space Marine companion, the beta also brings with it character generation, as well as tutorials that will ease you into the gameplay. The beta also comes with a host of other new features, including UI updates, new visuals, an overhaul to space combat, and progression for your voidship.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is coming to PC and consoles, but it doesn’t yet have a solid release date.
