Amid all of the games receiving year-end updates, inXile Entertainment’s Wasteland 3 is worth mentioning. The developer provided an update on the current state of the game, confirming that patch 1.2.0 would be out next week. It contains “a ton of improvements and fixes” and will be going live for all platforms (with full notes coming before it launches).
Patch 1.3.0 will follow quickly afterwards (with inXile estimating it to be out before the year ends). There’s also a focus on improving stability for lower-memory platforms, namely Xbox One and PS4, and each update will continue to address the same. Now, for those interested in new content, you’ll have to wait until next year.
More details on previously teased DLC will be provided in 2021 along with new features like permadeath, animal companions receiving enhancements and additional options. There will also be more performance improvements, game balancing and whatnot in store so stay tuned. Wasteland 3 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Check out our review of the game here.
