Watch Dogs: Legion launched in October last year, offering a meaty single player campaign, with Ubisoft promising a multiplayer component not long after release. Originally due out in December, the multiplayer was later delayed into early 2021, and now, Ubisoft have confirmed exactly when it will be arriving.
Watch Dogs: Legion is getting its online component in a little over two weeks, on March 9. It will add several modes to the game, including co-op open world gameplay, 4 player co-op missions called Tactical Ops, an 8 player PvP mode in which players will fight each other in arenas using Spiderbots, and Invasions, which, similar to the first game, will allow players to invade other players’ single player campaigns and hack into their data in an attempt to steal it.
Watch Dogs: Legion is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. You can read our review of the game’s single player campaign through here.
