Marcin Momot from CD Projekt has confirmed that patch 1.07 will be a big one. Patch 1.07 will be fixing several issues in the game. “The 1.07 is actually going to be a pretty large patch. We are already working on it. It’s not going to be too long before it comes out. Can’t talk about the detailed list of changes but it will features A LOT of fixes,” Momot said on the game’s official forums.
Players who own the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game will need to wait more before they can download patch 1.05 as Marcin confirmed on Twitter that even though they are working on it, it’s not coming out this week. The delay has obviously made some fans angry who are now accusing CD Projekt of giving more preference to the PC players.
Obviously, this is not the case of preference as console patches have this tedious process of getting certified. Marcon defended against these claims by stating, “Consoles have some other issues (some are really time consuming to fix) and we want to make sure everything works as intended when released. We ask for a little bit more patience. After 1.05 there will be a huge patch coming up next (it’s already in the works).”
And finally, he reiterated once again that they have not abandoned the PS4’s frame rate issue. “As I wrote before, once we have some details to present, we will. We have not abandoned this issue – we are working on addressing it.”
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is now available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
