Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Beta Patch Re-enables Steam Overlay

An issue preventing players in certain regions from receiving all the game files has also been fixed.

A new beta patch is available for Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus which re-enables the Steam overlay for the game. This being a beta patch means that most players won’t have access to it immediately – you’ll have to opt in on Steam.

Other changes included in the patch include a fix for an issue that was preventing those in Japan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia from being able to download all the files. It also enables Async compute for those with AMD hardware though GTX 1080 Ti users will have it temporarily disabled until a driver fix is released. The PC version will also be able to tell if you if the GPU driver is out of date.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Though the game packs quite a lot into its campaign, there’s apparently more to come. A mysterious Vault will be unlocking in the next few weeks to coincide with the first DLC pack’s release so stay tuned for more information. Check out the patch notes here.
