Despite being one of the games caught up in the never-ending firestorm of controversy that surrounds the Epic Games Store, World War Z, the very loose adaptation of the Max Brooks novel of the same name, seems to have done pretty well for itself. The game scratched an itch that Left 4 Dead left upon being left for dead as the last major co-op zombie shooter. It looks like developer Saber Interactive want to keep it going, as they’ve released the roadmap for the first season of post-game content.
As you can see from the chart provided below, we will have new content drops for May, June, and July. This month we’ll see a new a mission set in Tokyo, which will feature a brand new enemy. In June, a new extreme difficulty with a six skull rating and special bonus will get added, and in July the game will see a weekly challenge mode. Across all months we’ll see additional skins and accessories.
World War Z is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
