Xbox One Breaks Records in United States for Black Friday, Sales Up 22 Percent over 2014

Worldwide Black Friday sales for the Xbox Store up 57 percent.

The Xbox One seen exceptional sales in the United States during Black Friday week with a 22 percent increase in sales over last year and the second biggest Black Friday week for the company in history.

Some interesting statistics offered by Microsoft include the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition 500 GB bundle being the top-selling bundle; worldwide Black Friday sales in the Xbox Store showing an increase of 57 percent for the Xbox One and Xbox 360; global Xbox Live Gold subscriptions being up over 40 percent; and the total paid unique users in the Xbox Store showing an 88 percent growth on the Xbox One.

Players logged 325 million hours on Xbox Live within the past week, with time spent on the Xbox One being up by 196 percent over last year, and app time on the Xbox One having increased by 321 percent.
