Since Recore was officially announced at E3 this June, we haven’t heard a whole lot about the game. We know that it is slated for a spring of 2016 release and that it is only going to be coming to the Xbox One when talking about consoles. We also know the game is being developed by the rather legendary Keiji Inafune and we know that at least part of the game appears to be taking the power core (which also inlcudes memories and personalities) from one robot and putting it in another.
Until now, we also thought there was a pretty good chance the game was going to be hitting Windows 10 PCs at some point and that the game was just a console exclusive to the Xbox One. If the changing of one of the main developers who is working on the game’s homepage can be believed, it appears this game has gone back to being one that will literally only be available on the Xbox One.
Bobby Pavlock’s page had been saying that Recore was going to be coming to the Xbox One and the PC. It seems as if the plans have changed for the game, or the dev wasn’t supposed to let a piece of information slip. Either way, the page has been updated so that it now reads that the game is only coming to the Xbox One. While that isn’t exactly unexpected, it’s a little disappointing. Xbox One users will get to play Recore sometime near the spring of 2016.
