007 First Light Lets You Replay Missions With “Additional Modifiers”

Similar to Hitman World of Assassination, players can put their skills to the test by replaying missions with different conditions.

IO Interactive finally revealed extended gameplay for 007 First Light, and despite some frame rate issues, it’s everything you would expect from James Bond title. Beyond the car chases and shootouts, its sandbox is far from a reskin of Hitman, though it will offer something similar when it comes to replaying missions.

According to its Steam page, 007 First Light allows players to “test” their skills and “replay your favorite missions with additional modifiers, for endless espionage fun!” It sounds similar to Hitman World of Assassination’s challenges, which push players to assassinate targets in creative ways. Given the sheer amount of opportunities and ways to tackle situations, it should be interesting to see what IO Interactive comes up with.

007 First Light launches on March 27th, 2026, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2, with pre-orders now available. Head here for more details on its various mechanics, from the ability to Bluff enemies to Q Gadgets like the wristwatch laser, smoke bomb, and more.
