Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown 2nd Anniversary Update Out Tomorrow

The arcade flight combat title has sold over 2.5 million units since release.

Despite being two years old at this point, Bandai Namco’s Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is still going strong. The company confirmed that the 2nd Anniversary Update would release for free tomorrow on all platforms. It also announced that the game has sold over 2.5 million units worldwide since launch, up from 2 million shipments and digital sales in June 2020.

The 2nd Anniversary Update isn’t too hefty but it adds new plane skins and emblems for players. You can check those out in the trailer below. The full list of new skins and emblems includes the following:

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. You can check out our review for the base game here. Along with Season Pass that contains three story DLC packs, it’s also received a number of free updates since release. It’s also been available on Xbox Game Pass since March 2020.
