Alan Wake Comes To Xbox Game Pass May 21st

It's not a lake, it's an ocean of games.

Before Remedy Entertainment went off the rails with their latest hit title, Control, there was Alan Wake. A game in the style of a Stephen King story where a writer finds himself battling a mysterious, supernatural entity when he decides to go to a small, quiet town and write a new book. The game has since went on to be a cult classic, with many wondering what the next chapter would be. While we don’t know that, yet, there is a new way to revisit the old material.

As part of the game’s 10th anniversary, it will be coming to Xbox Game Pass as announced on Twitch, both the Xbox and PC versions of the service. If you happened to miss this one when it originally released a decade ago, you definitely weren’t the only one going by those initial sales, now is the time to try it out.

The future of Alan Wake is fuzzy. We know that the writer behind the title wants to see sequel, and the next expansion in Control seems to be teasing something related to the franchise as well. We’ve been waiting 10 long years, though, and so far not even the faint sound of a typewriter in the distance. Come back to us, Alan, anytime.
