Alien: Isolation Dev Diary Features Sigourney Weaver

Check out what Ripley's voice thinks about the upcoming horror title.

The Creative Assembly is making every effort to ensure that their upcoming first person survival horror title Alien: Isolation lives up to the spirit of the first Alien film. It’s also directly incorporating the film’s moments into pre-order exclusive missions which feature the original cast and in this new developer diary, we get to hear Sigourney Weaver’s thoughts on what that entails.

Weaver is most well-known for playing Ellen Ripley in the franchise and is joined by Veronica Cartwright (Lambert), Harry Dean Stanton (Brett), Tom Skerritt (Dallas) and Yaphet Kotto (Parker). It’s intriguing to see the difference between Alien in the old days and what Isolation now presents in terms of a narrative experience.

Alien: Isolation will be releasing on October 7th for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. Will it finally abolish the curse of Alien games like Colonial Marines and turn out to be a fun experience? We’ll find out in a few months.
