Development on BioWare’s Anthem has been progressing smoothly. The shared world shooter recently entered alpha stage and the development team has been pretty active on Twitter as well. What about gameplay though, something which we haven’t really seen since E3 2018? It seems lead producer Michael Gamble has something better – a livestream.
According to Gamble on Twitter, he and fellow producer Ben Irving will livestream the game on “November first”. “We’re going to just grab a random build and hopefully not crash. Hijinks and hilarity will ensue… we think.” One would hope that by “not crash”, Gamble means the Javelins that will be piloted in-game, and not the build itself.
Anthem is currently scheduled to release on February 22nd 2019 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It will have demo on February 1st for Origin Access Basic/Premier and EA Access subscribers. Those who pre-order the Standard Edition and Legion of Dawn Edition will also receive some sort of early access. However, only Origin Access Premier subscribers will receive access to the full game on February 15th. EA Access and Origin Access Basic subscribers can play a 10 hour limited trial though.
