After recently releasing the first in series of gameplay videos discussing the game’s customization and progression, BioWare also held a stream for Anthem. The stream was meant to showcase the different weapons that players can utilize, but also featured gameplay of the Legendary Contracts. Furthermore, it’s a good opportunity to see more of the Ranger after months of other Javelins hogging the limelight.
Check out the stream below. Lead producer Ben Irving and senior level designer Emily Taylor also talk about the quest design and the effects that different Shaper relics can have on the world. The heavy pistol is seen in action and trades fire rate for more damage per shot. M-77 Paladin fans from Mass Effect should know what’s up.
Anthem is out on February 22nd for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The VIP Access demo for the game goes live on January 25th and lasts till January 27th. It’s available for EA/Origin Access subscribers (yes, even those with Origin Access Basic) and pre-order customers. A public demo will take place on February 1st and lasts till February 3rd.
