Anthem Short Film Arrives on February 14th, Teaser Hypes “Conviction”

Directed by Neill Blomkamp of District 9 fame, the teaser talks about the Anthem of Creation.

After talking about “something new” related to BioWare’s Anthem, Neill Blomkamp’s next big project has finally come to light. “Conviction: An Anthem Story” is a live-action short film set in the game’s world and will release on February 14th. Until then, enjoy a teaser trailer from the short below.

Besides teasing that the Anthem of Creation has some effect on the minds of our heroes, the trailer also confirmed the involvement of Oats Studio. Established by Blomkamp in 2017, it creates experimental short films that are shared through YouTube and other platforms. Anthem releases on February 15th for Origin Access Premier, so the timing of the short’s release makes sense.

For those without Origin Access Premier subscriptions on PC, Anthem releases on February 22nd for Xbox One, PS4, and PC worldwide. A short trial version can be played for 10 hours on EA Access/Origin Access Basic on Xbox One and PC respectively.
