It seems like Apex Legends is doing well. We had heard that the game was at 2.5 million players and a concurrent player count of 600,000 players within a day of its launch, but the new numbers we have are an order of magnitude beyond the old ones.
Speaking on the game’s website, Respawn Entertainment’s Vince Zampella confirmed that Apex Legends has hit 10 million total players since the game’s launch earlier this week, and that it has breached 1 million concurrent players. These are amazing and great numbers, without any doubt whatsoever, and they bode well for EA, who are putting lot of their eggs in the Apex Legends basket.
It also bodes well for the franchise in general. While Titanfall 3 seems to be a no-go for now, we know that something Titanfall is planned for later this year, and this indicates that it may do well, thanks to (hopefully) wider interest in the IP as a result of Apex Legends’ popularity. The game is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
