New Titanfall Game Due This Year, Will Be A “Twist” For The Franchise

So it’s not Titanfall 3, but SOMETHING Titanfall related is definitely out later this year.

Titanfall 2

We already know that Titanfall 3 is not coming any time soon. That said, Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella hinted earlier today that some new Titanfall game may be coming later this year regardless. Now, speaking on their fiscal call (via analyst Daniel Ahmad of Niko Partners on Twitter), EA has confirmed that yes, a new Titanfall game is coming later this year.

This new game will be a “premium” game, meaning it will not be a free to play experience like Apex Legends is. It will also not be a traditional Titanfall experience, from the sound of things, because according to what Ahmad is reporting, EA has said this new game will be a “twist” for the franchise. You can start making your bets on what it might be – I am personally holding out hope for Titankart Racing – hitting consoles and PC later this year.

I imagine whatever this game is will be revealed come E3; until then, Apex Legends is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, and already very popular, so maybe look into that.
