Apex Legends Passes 70 Million Players

The battle royale shooter is still going strong.

Apex Legends launched at the beginning of this year to some big buzz. While that has cooled down a little as 2019 begins to unwind and we all get a little older, the game still has pretty impressive presence. The battle royale shooter from Respawn Entertainment is doing pretty well for itself actually.

During their quarterly conference call, publisher EA announced the game had now surpassed 70 million players. While that doesn’t quite match up to the like of Fortnite or PUBG, it’s still an impressive number for a game that’s nearly a year old now.

Apex Legends will also be coming to Steam sometime next year, which could also offer a boost to the already sizable player base. This will most likely be more than enough to keep support going for the game for the foreseeable future. If you want to jump in, the game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
