Embark Studios has released a new update for ARC Raiders. The patch, rolling out to PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S players, largely revolves around bringing in minor fixes to various bugs and “several issues that could cause crashes.” As part of the update, the studio has also confirmed that the Nascosto Set and the Scrappy Speckled Set will be available in the in-game shop.
The developer has also confirmed that it has a rotation for the in-game store planned for next week. However, the upcoming Riven Tides update will not be getting a patch in advance. Riven Tides is slated for release at the end of April. For more details about the update, check out the full patch notes below.
This is the latest update for ARC Raiders with a primary focus on bug fixes. Another one was released earlier this month, bringing in much-requested fix for the Rocketeer’s ARC’s sound effects. Before this update, the bug, which came in with the Flashpoint update, gave the Rocketeer the same alert sound effects as the newer Vaporizer ARC. This led to players taking to the game’s subreddit to create an entire petition, asking Embark Studios for a fix.
Along with fixing these audio issues, the update also brought in other changes, like switching up the movement speed for Rocketeers and Vaporizers so that the two “don’t behave strangely while idling.”
Flashpoint was the most recent major content drop for ARC Raiders, bringing in a new type of map condition, dubbed ARC Operations. This new type was kicked off with Close Scrutiny, which involves a new object, dubbed the Assessor, being found on the map, which players can then look for in their search for better loot. Flashpoint had also introduced the Legendary Energy shotgun Dolabra and the Rare medium ammo SMG Canto, among other things.
Recently, Embark Studios’ machine learning research lead Martin Singh-Blom had spoken about the studio’s larger ambitions for ARC Raiders. Among other things, the studio wants players to be able to use improved rope physics to trip larger ARCs. Singh-Blom even brought up comparisons to the iconic scene from Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, where an AT-AT is tripped with clever use of grappling cables.

- Fixed an issue that could cause players and ARC to sound quieter than intended when there’s no line of sight on Stella Montis.
- Fixed an issue causing blurry visuals when AMD FSR Frame Generation was enabled.
- Fixed an edge case where ziplines could be placed on carriables located on an edge of a ledge, and the player was below the ledge.
- Fixed an issue where hold-to-use items (such as bandages) could activate automatically if a quick slot swap was interrupted by pressing the fire key.
- Players who contributed to the Weather Monitor Station Project but couldn’t complete it in time, please check your inbox in-game in the next few days. Also, a reminder that the High-Gain Antenna Project will expire before the Riven Tides update.
