ARC Raiders Reveals Scrappy Update, Level 40+ Matchmaking, and Large New ARC in Latest Roadmap

A new map hits the extraction shooter in April, but you can look forward to new conditions, projects, quests, and more until then.

After much anticipation and teasing of what’s to come, Embark Studios has revealed its latest roadmap for ARC Raiders. Kicking off in January with Headwinds, there will be new player project and map condition, the latter likely to be the reported Toxic Swamps.

Players will probably have new Trials on their hands, but that’s not all. A new matchmaking option, level 40+, is also coming. If you’re tired of hunting low-level players (or being hunted by those on the other end), this should provide a novel end-game activity.

February marks the arrival of Shrouded Sky, and there’s a lot to unpack: A new map condition, player project, Raider Deck, Expedition window, and map update await. It also sees the debut of a new ARC machine, which leads us to Flashpoint in March. Another new ARC, map condition and player project will arrive, but interestingly, Scrappy, your faithful rooster, is getting an update.

Riven Tides in April is worth watching out for with a new map, condition and Expedition window, but most importantly, a new large ARC. So if you’re tired of hunting Queens and Matriarchs, this should provide a thrilling challenge (and hopefully not crash the servers).

Plenty else is in the pipeline, including new quests, Trials, events, gameplay items, cosmetics, and quality-of-life updates, but as always, everything is subject to change. And yes, there’s even more in store once the current roadmap concludes.

With more than 12.4 million copies sold, ARC Raiders is showing no signs of slowing down, so here’s hoping the new content keeps the hype train rolling.
