Ubisoft has delayed Tom Clancy’s The Division but it still has a ton of big-name titles out this year. Watch Dogs will be out on May 27th and yesterday, the publisher confirmed that Far Cry 4 would be releasing in November for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4. In the financial report for the entire year ending on March 31st 2014, CEO Yves Guillemot also revealed sales figures for Far Cry 3, stating that it has “now sold 9 million units since its release in December 2012.”
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag was also an excellent success, shipping 11 million copies since releasing in late October 2013. This was slightly down from Assassin’s Creed III’s 12.5 million units shipped in the same period but when you consider the amount of work that Ubisoft had to put in to rebuild faith in the franchise after the horrible third game, it’s still an impressive feat.
Assassin’s Creed will see not one but two releases this year, with Unity already confirmed to be releasing in the Holidays for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The second title, titled “Comet”, is rumoured to be releasing PS3 and Xbox 360.
