Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Codename RED, and Codename HEXE are going to be the series’ next mainline titles on consoles and PC in the coming years, but given the series’ massive reach, it’s no surprise that Ubisoft has plans in place to expand its presence on other platforms as well. Mobile open world action RPG Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade was announced earlier this year to that end, and gameplay footage from the title has been emerging of late through not-so-official means.
Recently, a leaked gameplay video showed the game in action, and more footage has now started popping up online, seemingly leaking courtesy of an ongoing closed beta test. New gameplay footage, which you can check out below, showcases combat, parkour, stealth, and several locations in the game, which will be set in in Ancient China in 215 BCE.
Meanwhile, Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade’s rendition of the track “Ezio’s Family” – which has become the unofficial main theme of the franchise over the years and been featured in different forms across a number of series entries – has also leaked.
Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade is in development for iOS and Android devices. There’s no word yet on when the game will release- though judging by the leaked gameplay footage, it seems to be making good progress behind-the-scenes.
