Assassin’s Creed Mirage Will be 20-30 Hours Long

Those rushing through the game can finish it in about 20 hours, though completionists might take as long as 30.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has become almost synonymous with bloated and overly long expriences in recent years, with Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla all having received their fair share of criticism of being a bit too long in the tooth, to say the least. In fact, the fact that it’s meant to be much shorter and more condensed experience is part of why series fans have been looking forward to the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage so keenly.

Previously, Ubisoft had said that the game would be roughly 15-20 hours long, though in recent interview with French YouTuber Julien Chièze (via @AccessTheAnimus on Twitter), lead producer Fabian Salamon provided updated numbers based on recent playtests, which suggest the game will be slightly longer.

As per Salamon, recent playtests have revealed that the game will take 20-24 hours on average for a player to beat. Additionally, while those rushing through the experience and sticking only to the main story will be able to finish it in about 20 hours, those who’re looking to do more of a completionist playthrough might spend about 25-30 hours with the open world title.

Previously, it was also confirmed that Mirage’s open world Baghdad map will be roughly as large as Revelations’ Constantinople and Unity’s Paris.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to launch on October 12 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Currently, Ubisoft has no plans to release post-launch DLC or expansions for the game.
