Back 4 Blood Will Launch Day 1 on Game Pass, New Gameplay Trailer Debuts

The co-op zombie shooter will see a day 1 launch on Game Pass, while a new trailer also provides a glimpse of the game's PvP mode.

True to the recent leaks, it’s been confirmed that Turtle Rock Studios and WB Interactive’s upcoming Left 4 Dead-inspired co-op zombie shooter Back 4 Blood is going to be playable via Xbox Game Pass on console, PC, and cloud on the day of its release itself, making for yet another major third party game snagged for Game Pass.

A new trailer also shows us some heart-pounding zombie slaying action. While most of the focus here is on the co-op PvE gameplay (which also showcases quite a few different varieties of enemies, some of whom are looking all sorts of twisted), the trailer also officially unveils the game’s PvP mode, in which players will be able play as zombies and battle against survivors. More details will be arriving in the Back 4 Blood PvP Showcase later today.

Back 4 Blood is out on October 12 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, Xbox One, PS4, and PC. An open beta is arriving on August 12.
