Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios has had quite the journey since its announcement in 2019. It entered early access in October 2020 for PC via Steam and Google Stadia with a number of big updates released. In a new trailer, the developer briefly celebrated these achievements – along with its own dash of comedy – while promising more to come. Check it out below.
Larian also reiterated plans for a full release in 2023, echoing previous statements by CEO Swen Vincke that it wouldn’t release this year. Currently, Act 1 is playable in early access with numerous classes and subclasses, including the recently added Barbarian. The title launched with roughly 25 hours of self-contained content and has only gotten bigger over time.
Two more Acts will be included in the final game, though whether they’ll be added during the early access period remains to be seen. Stay for more details in the meantime.
