Battlefield 2018 Will Have A Single-Player Mode, Anthem May Have Early Access

The company suggested that Anthem may have some sort of Early Access which will allow players to try the game out early and provide feedback.

Some details about Electronic Arts’ upcoming Battlefield game and also about BioWare’s Anthem were revealed by the publisher’s Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson during the company’s financial conference call for the last quarter of the fiscal year.

First of all, we get to learn some details about the new Battlefield game and Wilson confirmed that the game will feature a single-player mode. He stated, “With our next Battlefield game, the team at DICE is bringing the intensity of combat alive in new and unexpected ways. Every battle is unique, and every mode brings its own challenges, from the way you interact with the environment around you, to compelling single-player stories to the next level of large-scale multiplayer that spans across multiple maps and modes.” He also went on to state the game will be building upon the success of Battlefield 1, so we can expect the game to be of a similar quality.

Following this, Wilson also went on to discuss some details about Anthem and stated that it will fundamentally be a social experience. He also stated that every aspect of the game will offer “something entirely new for our audience.” He also suggested that there may be some sort of Early Access for the game which allow players to play the game early and provide their feedback for it.

Hopefully, we’ll get to know more details at E3 next month.
