Battlefield 5: DICE Already Looking To Improve Frostbite’s Rendering Tech

More news on the upcoming unannounced shooter.

Battlefield developer DICE seems to have been moving forward with development on the next game in the first person shooter franchise, if recent reports are anything to go by, and a new job ad posted on their official website seems to be indicating the same. The studio, it seems, is looking for a Senior Rendering Engineer to work on the Frostbite engine, which all their games (and most of EA’s game) are built on.

“You will work on one of our game teams to support and enable our graphics artists,” the job ad reads, “as well improving performance and pushing our technology forward, in close collaboration with the Frostbite engine team.” While they haven’t really mentioned what game specifically they’re looking to work on, recent reports have indicated that the studio is moving ahead with development of the next Battlefield game.

In addition to this, last week we also reported on another job listing by the studio, which, too, suggested that they’re gearing up for development of Battlefield 5. You can read all about it here. In the meantime, stay tuned to GamingBolt for more updates.
