We already know that DICE and EA are going to support the upcoming Battlefield 5 with what we have been promised will be steady stream of post launch content. Now, DICE’s Global Community Manager Dan Mitre has confirmed that it will share the roadmap for Tides of War, the first planned major post launch update for the game, before the game itself is out.
That’s good news, because it means you’re not getting the game on faith. They also confirmed that the game will have more cosmetic items than what was available in the beta (which I think should go without saying), and that it will be possible to resupply your gadgets with ammo crates. That last point is actually a change from how things worked in the open beta for the game, and is indicative of DICE taking player feedback for the game to heart.
If you want to learn more about Battlefield 5, DICE has recently confirmed the list of gadgets, weapons, and vehicles that will be available in the game at launch. They also confirmed some new details about weapon specializations in the game. Battlefield 5 launches on November 20 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
