BioWare Lets Players Customize Their Own Mass Effect: Legendary Edition Box Art, Offers Lots of Free Content to Fans

The free content is available until May 31st.

BioWare is going all out for the release of Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, improving everything from the trilogy’s visuals to how bosses work. And hey, if you don’t like how the box art looks, you can change that, too. The website is incredibly easy to use. Pick your favorite characters, a background, your morality, and click a button. You can download the resulting cover art as a wallpaper, share it on social media, or print it out and use it to replace the default box art.

Every major character is represented in the creator, as well as several of the franchise’s most iconic locations, including the Citadel, Collector Base, Omega, and Eden Prime. It’s a cool feature, and shockingly easy to customize. I made one I was happy with in about two minutes.

This isn’t the only cool thing BioWare is offering fans, however. They also released several other pieces of free content for fans today, including the full 88 song soundtrack (which also features “Resynthesis,” a new track for the Legendary Edition) two digital art books, two digital comic books, and digital lithograph. BioWare also released the entire soundtrack on YouTube, complete with some cool animations. You can listen to it below.
