Slated to release in 2020 for the Nintendo Switch, Team Asano and Nintendo have been fairly quiet about Bravely Default 2. That could be changing soon, at least according to a new by the game’s official Twitter. Celebrating the eighth anniversary of the first game with a new illustration, it notes that information on Bravely Default 2 will be “available soon.”
Announced last year out of nowhere, Bravely Default 2 received its first gameplay trailer and demo in March. The development team provided details about the online mechanics and possibly having another demo. But the last major development for the RPG was in September when it had been rated for Australia.
It wouldn’t be hard for Nintendo to release a new Direct focused on the game. At this rate, especially with next-gen consoles coming in November, it wouldn’t be strange to see Bravely Default 2 pushed to early 2021. As always, stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
