Team Asano’s Bravely Default 2 featured strongly during Nintendo’s recent mini Direct, debuting its gameplay and characters. Check it out below or try it out for yourself. A demo for the RPG is now available to download from the Nintendo eShop.

Bravely Default 2 is a sequel to the first game, following a new band of heroes as they adventure to find the Four Crystals. The characters in question are Seth, a sailor; Gloria, a princess of a “lost kingdom”; Adelle, a mercenary; an Elvis, a traveling scholar. Much like previous iterations, the battle system allows players to either attack or hang back till the moment arises.

Sadly, no release date was announced but it’s still set to release in 2020. Expect more details and gameplay footage in the coming months. In the meantime, Nintendo has dated Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition which releases for Switch on May 29th. Check out extensive gameplay and new features for the remake here.
