Remember Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s take on Survival/Horde mode, dubbed Spec Ops Survival, where you faced waves of increasingly difficult enemies? According to IGN (via MP1st), Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will have a similar mode for co-op play.
Co-op will support four players online or two players via split-screen. You’ll encounter waves of enemies and have an opportunity to upgrade your Exo suit with the points accrued. Random objectives will be provided every ten waves, either offering greater rewards or punishing you if you fail them. Support drops can be provided as the Support bar fills up.
The mode will take place on the different multiplayer maps and will have four separate tiers. As you complete 35 rounds, tier two becomes unlocked and so on. Players will have three classes to choose from with Light, Heavy and Specialist.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be out on November 4th for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. How does this survival mode sound? Let us know in the comments.
