Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Details – Bots Mode, Aim Assist, Supply Drops and More

Classic play modes to also be made available.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been wowing publications around the world after its multiplayer reveal at last week’s Gamescom. This was primarily due to its familiar but decidedly different approach to the classic multiplayer mode which now sees players fighting with Exo suits and leaping all over the place.

Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey actually revealed some more information on the game via his Twitter and confirmed that there would be a “Combat Readiness Program” to allow players to practice with bots. Aim assist has been confirmed but you’ll be able to turn it off when required. It also seems that there will be classic playlists for those who want to experience the game without boosts and high jumps.

As for Supply Drops, it seems that you’ll need to play the campaign to unlock them, with weapons carrying over into multiplayer. Certain Supply Drops and Camos also have challenges that must be completed first in order to unlock them. It also seems that the game may get a third person mode post-launch.
