Call of Duty Advanced Warfare is perhaps the most interesting entry in the long running series. Players will have access to this special exoskeleton armor which will allow them to pull off crazy maneuvers. Speaking to the game’s creative director Bret Robbins, GamingBolt learned a few more interesting details about it.
“One thing that is new with the campaign is that we’re introducing an upgrading system. Through the exoskeleton you can increase its power; you can earn upgrade points by completing challenges and customize your exoskeleton. By end of the game you’re much more powerful than you started.”
But will the players have all of the abilities and skill by the end of the game or the player needs to make certain choices to get them? “You have to make certain choices, however your upgrades will carry over if you decide to play again,” Robbins explained.
Comparing it to New Game+, Robbins further explains the new system. “It’ll really help you to be a complete Veteran by having all these upgrades. It should encourage people to play the campaign again. I always do it as a player, I always like playing again especially with an open up upgrade system.”
