According to an article in Newsweek, dug up by an enterprising Redditor, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will feature the return of Gun Game and Infected to the competitive multiplayer scene.
Gun Game is a highly popular mode wherein players start with basic weapons and work their way up to more powerful guns with each kill. Infected sees one player – the Infected – trying to kill the Survivors who are given random weapons, with points accrued depending on who can survive the round.
Till now, there are 12 confirmed modes in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Free for All, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Capture the Flag, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, Search & Rescue, Uplink, Momentum, Gun Game, and Infected.
