Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One Resolution Higher Than Ghosts, Details On User Camo & More

Michael Condrey, co-founder of Sledgehammer games reveals new details about the upcoming shooter.

Say what you will about twitter, but the 140 character limit really makes things so much easier. You say what you need to say and nothing more. So it’s no real surprise we’re always seeing information  being revealed through twitter interactions rather than dedicating press releases or videos to it, and to be perfectly honest I prefer it this way.

So one Twitter user asked Michael Condrey, co-founder of Sledgehammer games and developer on Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, “Will cod aw have a higher resolution then cod ghosts? It would mean the world to me if you replied:)” and reply he did! In a reply tweet, Mr Condrey says ,” yes, higher on Xbox One Than Ghost”. Note the specificity of “Xbox One”, what does that mean for PS4?

It’s possibly going to be 1080p again for the PS4 version since Ghosts ran at that resolution. However it will be interesting to see the improvement of resolution for the Xbox One version since Ghosts ran at 720p on the Xbox One.

He also answered some other COD questions, such as “PC details anytime this century?” and “Is Sentinel Task Force is in singleplayer [sic]” to which he replied “definitely” and “yes, and MP too” respectively. So hopefully PC requirements for Advanced Warfare are coming soon.

He also confirmed that user applied camos can be applied over supply dropped variants and that they are unlocked via variants. Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is due for almost every platform in November.
