Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Gets Micro-Transactions With New Patch

You can now choose to wrap you gun in bacon.

Treyarch has added micro-transactions to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 with a new patch, which allows you to buy items for dressing up your weapon, modifying your targeting reticle and even using the Bacon Personalization Pack to cover your gun in bacon.

There’s even less that won’t anger you. For example, Nuketown Zombies can be bought as a standalone level for 400 Microsoft Points. Yes, just that one map for that much.

There’s the Extra Slots pack for 10 more Create-A-Class Slots, which makes 20 in total if you’re at Prestige level. You can also store 20 more emblems, 32 more films and 40 more screenshots. This is available for 160 Microsoft Points.

You can also have others themed packs for weapons which contain camouflage, three targeting reticles for kind of sight (Reflex, EO Tech, and ACOG) and a custom player Calling Card for 160 Microsoft Points.

We would take the opportunity to ask “Why, god, why” but we’ll just put up our hands, say “Activision” and move along.
