Call of Duty Black Ops 2 had a weird probation system where getting kicked off from a server due to host migration counted as a strike and after gathering eventual strikes, you couldn’t be able to play the multiplayer of the game.
However, Activision knows that this is wrong and something that players cannot be blamed for, and have released a patch that tweaks the algorithm a bit and you will only be penalized if you pre-maturely quit the game.
“A live update has been released addressing Probation and security-related issues. Keep calm and frag on.” Treyarch tweeted.
The Nuketown Zombies map which was only available for the “Hardened Edition” and “Care Package Edition” owners of the game will be headed to normal owners i.e., people with a season pass. People who only own the game are peasants of course.
“Nuketown Zombies hits Xbox 360 BlackOps2 Season Pass holders tomorrow [Wednesday, December 12]. Which weapon will you Pack-A-Punch with first?,” Activision Tweeted via Mp1st.
The game came out last month and has been a sales juggernaut so far.
