Call of Duty Black Ops 2 update now live for Xbox 360

Game on bros.

Microsoft and Treyarch have released a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and it fixes a lot of bugs and issues in the game. They haven’t released a patch note yet but it is expected today.

The PS3 version of the game seems to be in a mess with people reporting issues from online to freezes and it’s something that is unfortunately considering the amount of games Treyarch has shipped on the console.

“We just downloaded the #BlackOp2 title update for 360. Right on schedule. Game on.” Treyarch’s Twitter account said.

Full patch notes tomorrow,” game designer David Vondehaar added. “Week 1 is down, but we are just getting warmed up. Have fun. Play hard. Shoot knifers in the face.” (Via OXM)

Since we don’t have any patch notes we can’t really guess what it fixed, but according to OXM, they seem to have fixed UI error 226117 which appears in the theater mode, and Dragonfire which sometimes doesn’t deploy online.

We will update this news once the patch notes are here. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
