Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Sells 2000 Copies on Xbox One And Xbox 360 Combined In Japan

Xbox One's struggle in Japan is pretty much apparent according to latest Media Create charts.

Media Create has released some new numbers for just how many copies some of the newest games recently released have been selling and there’s some bad news for Treyarch. The makers of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 are seeing some real problems in getting the game to rack up sales for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 in Japan.

The recent report showed that Black Ops 3 has sold just 2,000 copies between the two Microsoft consoles. Those numbers are not particularly impressive but it’s even worse when talking about the fact that Advanced Warfare sold 6.000 copies between Xbox One and Xbox 360 in the same period since its Japanese launch.

That number is actually pretty decent when you consider that Microsoft games are just not remotely popular in Japan. The fact that the game was actually able to place in the Top 50 and just outside the top 20. Of course, it wasn’t all bad news for Treyarch, because the company was still ranked as the top selling game on the charts for the PS4 and the PS3 version finished ninth. It appears it’s lack of appearance on the charts for the Microsoft consoles is more an indictment of Microsoft than Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
