Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 already received a hefty update yesterday, but another one has also become available. It kickstarts the Quad Feed event, providing double XP in Multiplayer and Zombies, double the Merits and Tier Boosts, and double Nebulium Plasma. Benefits will end on November 26th, 10 AM PT.
Along with the Quad Feed, the update also brings changes to spawns for round-based respawn modes. Players also finally have the option to toggle Auto Mantle on Xbox One and PS4 (with the change coming to PC “soon”). For spawns, the development team found an issue in Control and Domination that would “improperly assess” enemy proximity when finding respawn locations.
While the update won’t resolve all issues, it should reduce the number of bad spawns in both modes (especially from round two onwards). As for Auto Mantle, it allows for mantling surfaces without hitting the Jump button again. The development team is also working on an Auto Sprint option for console players.
