Call of Duty Ghosts: Current Gen To Have Dynamic Maps And Player Customization

Executive producer Mark Rubin says they "made it work" somehow.

With all the cross-generational titles coming out later this year, it’s obvious that the next-gen versions will look significantly better than their current-gen versions. And how about games with select features that will be exclusive to the Xbox One and PlayStation? EA’s Ignite engine for sports games on the Xbox One comes to mind.

It seemed like Call of Duty: Ghosts would be another instance, though it doesn’t quite feature a “brand new engine” as Infinity Ward has been wont to extol the virtues.

But at least we’re getting dynamics maps and players customization in current gen versions of the game.

A fan recently asked executive producer Mark Rubin the same on Twitter, to which he responded:

Is it that hard to incorporate, given that Battlefield 4 will feature dynamic maps of entirely different scale thanks to Levolution? We’ll have to wait and find out when Call of Duty: Ghosts releases on November 5th.
