Call of Duty: Ghosts Data-Mine Suggest New DLC Weapons Incoming

Ghosts could be following in Black Ops 2's footsteps with DLC weapons.

An erstwhile Twitter user recently performed a data-mine on Infinity Ward’s recently released Call of Duty: Ghosts, and has found several files that indicate new weapons and upgrades in DLC somewhere down the line. Check out the image below. This follows reports that Modern Warfare 3 map Dome will be returning in Ghosts as DLC.

Each line has the “word” purchase in it, further giving credence to the fact that it could be future DLC. It could also be for micro-transactions somewhere down the line. Black Ops 2 had something similar, and is also well-known for adding new weapons via DLC.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be launching on the PS4 in North America on November 15th, with a European release on November 29th. It’s been a subject of much controversy in the next-gen console war mostly due to the resolutions it runs at on both consoles (1080p on the PS4, 720p on the Xbox One). It will be releasing on November 22nd for the Xbox One but we doubt any of this will be the end of the controversy. Stay tuned for more.
